canceL^^ steps down from the compLexity Gaming roster

Following the recent qualifiers results from DAC and SL i-League StarSeries Season 3, coL’s mid laner canceL^^ decided to take a break from competitive Dota2. According to the official announcement made by compLexity Gaming, Mihai 'canceL^^' Antonio “was the first to point out that he was not performing at the level the team needed, nor what he expected of himself”. Last night, after a team meeting, both canceL^^ and coL mutually agreed on him to stepping down from the roster, leaving the NA squad with no other option than fighting for a spot at the upcoming Kiev Major from the open qualifiers. Mihai 'canceL^^' Antonio’s official statement: Unfortunately in the recent qualifiers I was not performing at a level that I expected of myself, and I felt I was holding the team back. As a result I decided to take some time to work on my play individually, rather than holding my team back. I am stepping down in the hopes that the team can find someone that is able to help them win, while I improve on my own.

I would like to thank coL.Dota, compLexity, and the fans for the good times. I'm sorry to have disappointed this time, but I will keep working hard and I will not give up.”canceL^^ joined compLexity Gaming during the Kiev Major Shuffle, on September 17, becoming the only foreigner on the american squad. Upon his arrival at coL, canceL^^ was one of the newcomers to the big scene, his previous competitive experience resuming at the full Romanian rosters of XPC.ro and a brief tenure at Kaipi. However, even before joining compLexity, canceL^^ has been one of the most known Romanian streamers. coL’s General Manager Kyle 'Beef' Bautista mentioned in his official statement regarding canceL’s departure that he hopes he will be able to return to the organization as a streamer and Dota 2 personality. Kyle 'Beef' Bautista’s official statement: When we first recruited Antonio I was a bit skeptical. His reputation wasn’t the greatest, nor was his track record. Much to my delight, it turned out that he was not only a skilled player, but an exceptional human being. I can truly say it has been a delight working with him. It is regrettable that his raw talent wasn’t able to translate to success within the team environment, but I know that he gave it his all, each and every day. I am sad to see him departing the competitive team, but following some time away from Dota, I hope we will be able to continue working with him as a streamer and personality. ” compLexity Gaming has also announced that in the following day they will be running a few try outs, in tonight’s Elimination Mode lower bracket finals using Eric '747' Dong. compLexity Gaming current roster: David 'Moo' Hull, empty,Jaron 'Monkeys-Forever' Clinton,Zakari 'ZfreeK' Freedman,Kyle 'melonzz' Freedman
