Canadians: Registration is open for Red Bull AdrenaLAN

Red Bull AdrenaLAN registration is now open for their big Dota 2 and Fortnite event to be held in Toronto, Canada in July.

Red Bull AdrenaLAN is a weekend-long BYOC event hosting two days of Fortnite and Dota 2 tournaments at The International Centre in Toronto, July 27-29.

“The first-ever Red Bull AdrenaLAN presented by Bell is set to bring multi-title competition to Toronto, featuring several of esports’s hallmark games in addition to special opportunities for industry professionals and enthusiasts.”

Dota 2 Tournament Details:

Sixteen team slots are up for grabs for players to compete in two days of matches on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m local time.

The competition will start with a randomly assigned group stage where teams will battle in a best-of-one, round robin series to determine the top seed of each group. All teams will advance to the next bracket, a best-of-three double elimination based on results from round one.

The top two teams from the double elimination round will advance to the best-of-five grand finals and compete for their share of $5,000 CAD.

Fortnite Tournament Details:

Four hundred players will battle it out in more than 200 total duo competitions over the course of Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 with the battle bus leaving every five minutes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

It’s a weekend of duos but there are no roster restrictions, giving players the option to switch teams and attempt to outrun the storm on their own terms.

The winning team of each match will take home $200 CAD and teams with the most overall victory royales will close out the weekend with a winner’s match.

Note: ALL players for either game are welcome to arrive at the venue starting Friday, July 27 to set up their equipment, game and stream.
